ART:DIS Studio is a creative offshoot of ART:DIS Singapore, a non-profit organisation established in 1993 that champions the learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities in and through the arts.

Ceramication
As Singapore’s boutique porcelain maker, they leverage technology to enable persons with disabilities to craft culturally inspired pieces that capture the island’s stories in clay. Every item is a collaboration of artistry and resilience, made by differently-abled makers who shape each porcelain piece with pride and precision. The studio also supports customisation across selected works, allowing designs to be adapted for commissioned pieces.

Deaf ArtsCraftsy
Born deaf, Mimi Ng graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design from LASALLE–SIA College of the Arts, where she built a strong foundation in visual art. Over the years, she accumulated diverse experience working in arts-related roles, including as a Bookworm artist, a potter, and an architectural draftsperson. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Mimi founded Deaf ArtsCraftsy to share her passion for painting and craft while creating opportunities for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community. Her craft spans a range of handcrafted and visual mediums across clay, painting, and illustration, while also showcasing craft pieces created by her Deaf peers.Through art bazaars and creative platforms, she hopes to showcase the work of talented Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing crafters, building a space where their art can be uplifted, and empower their lives.

Dinoboy Sheng Jie
Through the medium of clay, Sheng Jie creates artworks inspired by dinosaurs, animals and more. Through intricate detailing, he creates tactile forms and illustrations, also extending into subjects such as flowers. Each piece captures the limitless extent of his imagination and persistent attention to detail.

Sheng Jie is an autistic artist who explores his love for dinosaurs and animals through clay and drawing. He is best known as the designer of the Dino pouch brought to the White House in 2016, earning him the nickname “Dinoboy.”
