Deaf ArtsCraftsy
Born deaf, Mimi Ng graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design from LASALLE–SIA College of the Arts, where she built a strong foundation in visual art. Over the years, she accumulated diverse experience working in arts-related roles, including as a Bookworm artist, a potter, and an architectural draftsperson. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Mimi founded Deaf ArtsCraftsy to share her passion for painting and craft while creating opportunities for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community. Her craft spans a range of handcrafted and visual mediums across clay, painting, and illustration, while also showcasing craft pieces created by her Deaf peers.Through art bazaars and creative platforms, she hopes to showcase the work of talented Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing crafters, building a space where their art can be uplifted, and empower their lives.
